Well, I held my nose and voted for Hillary the 1st time, but it was pretty close. So that's not an issue for me.

The problem here is that Trump is America's QB for the next 3.5 years AT LEAST. He has GOT to do better. I'll be the first to admit that the press hates him (and vice versa), that makes things harder. But he's got majorities in both houses of Congress and is supposedly one of the best deal makers in the world. How is it that we are at this point? Why is he not making deals to get important stuff through congress?

We are 100% in agreement here. You have to actually break the law to get impeached. "High crimes and misdemeniors (spelling)" I think is the phrase. Acting stupid is not grounds for that.

As you well know Ron, I'm not a fan of a lot of Trump's policies or the man himself. I actually don't want him impeached. The man is his own worst enemy and as long as he keeps doing what he's doing now (And I'm not sure that he's even capable of seeing that most of his trouble now is self caused), he is going to have difficulty getting important stuff passed through congress. See this health care bill. Jesus, every Republican wants Obamacare gone and our "deal maker in chief" can't even get something done that everyone on his side agrees with.

Mike Pence won't make the same mistakes Trump has. He's an extremely competent guy. He'd give the press NOTHING and work his ass off to further the platform. He couldn't care less if someone in the press disagrees with him. Obamacare would be dead and replaced already if he (or practically anyone besides Trump) were in charge.

I'm not sure what you mean by "my types". I think the President (regardless of whether I agree with him or not) should act like he's the President and the leader of the free world. He doesn't act like that. He acts like a reality TV star. Or maybe a teenage girl. Those quotes aren't mine. They are Donald Trump's. They aren't fake news or taken out of context. They are HIS WORDS. HE LIKES THE POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE! Trump himself is the "type" you accuse me of being. Or at least he professes to be in his book. I love Trump on twitter...get over it. The swamp is against Trump including a number of wolf in sheeps clothing republicans who want to scuttle the big legislation that Trump is trying to get through. Most of Trump's executive orders are just rolling back stupid crap that Obama put in via EO. The other stuff that he has done via EO I am all in favor of and am very happy he did it. Use of presidential EO is always criticized or applauded based on whether one agrees with it or not. Trump is working this big legislation and I still think he gets it done. The supreme court also upheld the travel ban over turning the politically minded lower courts as I knew it would.

If they repeal Obamacare we could likely lose our coverage, and would be on the hook to pay all remaining expenses for the year out of pocket. (We also had a baby two months ago) so probably another $24K out of pocket.

So I guess what I am saying is if you support that happening to my family, then I will pray for you.

That sounds unfortunate. I hope that everything works out for you and your family, but I can guarantee you that will still be able to get insurance at the price you are currently paying based on those numbers. Policy decisions for a country cant be made based on individual cases. There will be sad stories in life no matter what type of policies are put in by any government leaders. I still support repeal of obamacare no matter what and feel confident that President Trump will lead us into a better plan. Best of luck with everything!
