So if the guy fancies himself a one-eyed, 700 pound, yellow walrus, do we let him express himself as that? Or is just the total opposite sex you can emulate? In my book, the liberty of the individual outweighs your moral contempt for cross-dressing homosexuals. Simple as that. Free market. Homos win. You lose.
If you post a gif as a picture, it will work better![]()
@clemsonfan3 meant to say:One day, when someone like him runs across you, having been left for dead on the road to Damascus, I pray they follow the Lord’s way and not the path you follow.
Yes, if it’s on his own time. And we’d all properly recognize he was nuts. We also wouldn’t want to reform culture around people believing they’re yellow walruses. So if the guy fancies himself a one-eyed, 700 pound, yellow walrus, do we let him express himself as that? You’re simply arguing that a Clemson student cross-dressing on the flag team is some kind of imagined slippery slope that will ultimately impinge your personal liberty. My advice is to go home and refile your case when you have some actual damages to pursue. Until then, you have no standing. The kid gets to dress however he wants.Well, unless anybody doesn’t want to affirm someone’s delusions about their sex, or if a parent doesn’t want to facilitate their childrens’ “transition,” or if a school wants to have sex separate sports, or if anywhere wants to have sex separate locker rooms or bathrooms, or if a doctor doesn’t want to facilitate a “transition,” or if a doctor doesn’t want to help affirm “trans” status, or if a teacher wants to teach that sex is immutable, or unless anybody thinks sexual complimentary matters for marriage, or unless somebody doesn’t want to help celebrate a “gay wedding.” Or if a leader doesn’t want to have a guy dressed in a womens uniform on the band flag team.
The liberty of the individual trumps all, except in these insignificant cases.
Yo. It’s midnight after a game. Give me a break.@clemsonfan3 meant to say:
I really don’t know what the crap I’m talking about since Paul was on the road to Damascus and the Good Samaritan story I was trying to allude to was a guy on a road to Jericho but it’s convenient for me to bring God and the Bible into what my preferences are
Incredible hip movement. Also we can rule out him having a dick so don’t worry guys shes just a female with really long sideburns and a receding hairlineOhhh yeaaahh
We’re not talking about legalities. We’re talking about how Clemson ought to be represented, and how alumni ought to feel about certain representations. My suspicion is that considerations of legalities entered into the decision to let him dress as a woman on the flag team, though. You’re simply arguing that a Clemson student cross-dressing on the flag team is some kind of imagined slippery slope that will ultimately impinge your personal liberty. I’ll allow it. I mess crap up all the time. Where you went wrong was citing the “Lord’s Way” and a Bible story when in fact the Bible goes for the jugular on this topic.Yo. It’s midnight after a game. Give me a break.
What do you mean by “these kind of folks”? Honest question.
I donate for these kinds of folks to represent Clemson
I am an alumnus - class of 87 - and my son is class of ‘19 and my oldest daughter is a senior and my youngest is a sophomore. I and my kids denounce the close- mindedness of you and others in this threadWe’re not talking about legalities. We’re talking about how Clemson ought to be represented, and now alumni ought to feel about certain representations. My suspicion is that considerations of legalities entered into the decision to let him dress as a woman on the flag team, though.
Good. Others ought to be able to donate to prevent that. The trouble is that your side is entirely intolerant.

Oh now. Let’s not get too far into Leviticus. He rose for all our sins.I’ll allow it. I mess crap up all the time. Where you went wrong was citing the “Lord’s Way” and a Bible story when in fact the Bible goes for the jugular on this topic.
I’m going to guess your kids don’t feel as strongly as you do. And I could list quite a few fellow alums who denounce your desire to impose your gender ideology on everyone else, in addition to the ideology itself (which you still haven’t explained how it makes believing that men can only be men, and women can only be women, bigoted).I am an alumnus - class of 87 - and my son is class of ‘19 and my oldest daughter is a senior and my youngest is a sophomore. Nah I’m strictly New TestamentOh now. Let’s not get too far into Leviticus. He rose for all our sins.
Anyone - literally anyone who is a Clemson student or alum. Maybe I should have said this person. Does that help? What do you mean by “these kind of folks”? Honest question.
Oh yeah, that makes way more sense. Seemed like a shitty thing to say tbh. It’s how my racist grandma used to speak about people of color.Anyone - literally anyone who is a Clemson student or alum. Maybe I should have said this person. Does that help?
This is an important discussion, but it’s also not necessary to this topic. That particular poster doesn’t really care, he’s just doing the whole, “this is really just a religious thing, and anyway you religious people are hypocrites who don’t understand your own religion” thing.Nah I’m strictly New Testament
Ah, well, then they are the people I was talking about. Thanks for instantiating what I said above about intolerance. Maybe consider whether being horrified that you’ve even engaged a dialogue is closed minded.Your guess would be wrong - my girls would be horrified that I even engaged this dialogue
Just to be clear, you donate so that literally anyone will be out there representing Clemson? How about an anti- trans ideology activist? How about someone who insists on not wearing any clothes? Or someone who insists on advocating for a political candidate?Kept judging and parsing… and speaking things that are not said
I know. It happens. I won’t hold 1am message board banter against you tho. Just be careful with condescending terms.Kept judging and parsing… and speaking things that are not said about any people
Just wondering… Did your panties get all wadded up the first time you heard the woo-hoo? Because I really hate it, but I’m not sure it’s going to destroy the Clemson culture any more so than our three cross-dressing flag girls.Ah, well, then they are the people I was talking about. Thanks for instantiating what I said above about intolerance. Maybe consider whether being horrified that you’ve even engaged a dialogue is closed minded.
Don’t talk about your girls on here as an example of what people ought to be like if you don’t want others to respond to what you say about them. Once again, maybe be a little more self-reflective when calling other people “****ing Neanderthal.” Usually, that kind of irrational emotion is associated with Neanderthals.Don’t talk about my girls you ****ing Neanderthal
I agree. No need to call names.Don’t talk about your girls on here as an example of what people ought to be like if you don’t want others to respond to what you say about them. I don’t, because I’m a good bit younger than you. But I would suggest that you not try to illustrate your points by talking about what your daughters think, and how mortified they’d be to even know that anybody disagrees with them, if you don’t want people to comment on that.Do you have daughters?
I cant stop laughing 😆
Bottom line young man - I am totally good with our band and color guard and every individual therein. God bless us every one. May you be as self-reflective as you preach.I don’t, because I’m a good bit younger than you. But I would suggest that you not try to illustrate your points by talking about what your daughters think, and how mortified they’d be to even know that anybody disagrees with them, if you don’t want people to comment on that.
I’m all good with itWe’re not talking about legalities. We’re talking about how Clemson ought to be represented, and how alumni ought to feel about certain representations. My suspicion is that considerations of legalities entered into the decision to let him dress as a woman on the flag team, though.
I don’t seek to impose any gender ideology on anyone - why do you postulate that on me?I’m going to guess your kids don’t feel as strongly as you do. And I could list quite a few fellow alums who denounce your desire to impose your gender ideology on everyone else, in addition to the ideology itself (which you still haven’t explained how it makes believing that men can only be men, and women can only be women, bigoted).
Oh they’ve lived through Trump - they have seen it all.. and thank you for the lectures Junior
I would try and explain it something like this. He is confused, and be glad you are not. Then explain what a "sissy" is.How’d you explain it? I just don’t have it in m
Yeah still not worth itHow funny would it be if this was all a cover to get him in with the women on the team and he was just plowing the whole squad..
