idk man, probably because the information they use to cite their explanations haven't "been supported by any randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical trials" per Dr. Malik of Ascension St. John. i don't know who all the latest medical quacks you guys are citing to show that covid is a hoax and vaccines are bad, but the yahoo article below is from the latest quick google search.
if your next argument is that big pharma isn't a massive grift you won't get any opposition from me. but, it seems counterintuitive to create and market a product that will kill people who take it. seems like bad business, but then again cigarette companies are still making money hand over fist. if you want to argue that big pharma is more interested in treating than curing, sure i'd also agree with that.
the vaccine doesn't prevent infection, but data shows it does help curb the infection rate. speaking personally, i could see how there's been an uptick in covid recently considering people's lax social distancing standards and with how infectious Omicron is compared to other strains. luckily this strain isn't as deadly so hopefully the hospitals aren't as impacted as they were with the other ones. i mean shit i never wear a mask anymore unless i have to and i go about my day like i did before COVID came around. mainly because i'm vaccinated and don't really deal with large groups of people often.
