Manchin

Now you guys care about where political funding comes from? Give me a fugging break.

We are saying that he is killing this bill for the climate change components b/c that is what big oil wants him to do.

Seriously man, I know you think that Obama buying beach front property negates 30 years of climate change warnings from scientists. But that shit is coming. Your kids and my kids will be dealing with it.

He may be. But it's a good thing for America that entitlement expansion is getting killed along with the climate piece. This bill, if provisions were to be made permanent (which always happens once you start handing out money), would really cost more like $5T. That's absurd and we should all be grateful to Manchin for stoping the reckless spending.

The dems should work on a targeted, efficient, potentially bipartisan piece of climate-specific legislation. Make incremental progress unattached to reckless entitlement spending.

I'm more concerned for Obama's $12m ocean front estate that he bought in 2019 after driving the climate change agenda and after having access to all of the climate scientists the country has to offer. Imagine being so scared you sunk $12m into ocean front real estate knowing it would be a massive loss one day
Yessir and Climate genius Al Gore is so afraid of climate change that he built himself a 27,000 sq ft home....they're worried to death about it and want me to pay 5.00 a gallon for gasoline to save the planet.

Well....yes and no. Climate change has been a constant for thousands of years. Was in a massive valley near Denali a couple of years ago. The guide explained that it had been carved out by a glacier 3000 years ago but, there is no glacier there now....it melted centuries ago (no fossil fuel usage then you see) just normal climate change that is not impacted by humans at all and will not be changed by human activity changes to any significant degee at all. If you'll take an honest look at scientific projections over the last 50 years you'll see for sure that they are not remotely reliable.

Why is it only up to the dems to solve long-term problems like climate change while repubs get to just pretend it is not real? That is your team. Enjoy.
No political party or nation will make any changes that will impact climate change at all. Bank on it.
