Zachary “Zach” Rehl is a father, a husband, a Marine Corps Veteran, and an American Patriot who loves his country and was arrested last March 17, 2021, for attending the January 6 protests.
Zach was accused of Conspiracy (1) Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting (2) Destruction of Government Property and Aiding and Abetting (3) Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds (4) Disorderly Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds (5).
He has currently been detained for over 14 months and has been trying to get bail but has been denied it even though the judge said that he favored his release, according to his fundraising page.
Zach is nonviolent and even the prosecution has said as much; he did not assault any police officers or anyone else, he did not push through any barricades, and he did not damage any property. Yet he is being charged with doing that and more.

Since his arrest, Zach has missed the birth of his daughter with his wife and has never been able to hold his almost one year old child. He also has a teenage daughter who he misses greatly and has not seen since his arrest. Zach was the provider for his household and his absence has been a cause of great stress mentally, emotionally, and financially on his family.
Now, Zach Rehl needs us to fight for him.

Zach’s wife has reached out to The Gateway Pundit hoping to share Zach’s story. Read below:
Greetings,
My name is Zach Rehl and I’m a lesser-known, yet presently detained, a political prisoner for over 14 months that is part of conspiracy accusation charges involving the events surrounding the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. Despite being listed as number three on the ever-changing and ever-growing indictment, the media has rarely mentioned me, even though my lawyers have submitted countless motions disputing the false accusations against us. It is my firm belief, that my background goes against what the government and the media want the public to perceive when they think of these “Capitol” cases.
The reasons for the silence are blatant. I have never been to prison, I have no violent criminal history and no history of violence in general. I am a family man who should be allowed home to my teenage daughter, my wife, and our daughter who she gave birth to while I have been unjustly incarcerated. My wife and I are homeowners and had been in the process of selling our current home so we could move into a larger one for our growing family. But due to this ongoing nightmare, she had been forced to take our house off the market and stay put in a home that is too small for our now bigger family.
I come from a very blue-collar family that has a deep respect for law enforcement due to the fact that my father and my grandfather worked for the Philadelphia Police. I myself am a disabled Marine Corps veteran who was honorably discharged exactly 10 years ago this year. After, I chose to further my education by attending an academically respected, Temple University, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I briefly worked in the financial field before making my way back to Temple, where I obtained a master’s degree in their Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship program. My degree was able to land me a position with an investment bank, where I was able to acquire my Series 7/66 brokers licenses. Which was in addition to the various insurance licenses I already had already taken. I did leave the investment bank with the intention of opening my own financial firm which is normally lengthy progress made further longer because of Covid shutdowns. I was almost finished setting up for my company when the FBI halted it all by raiding my home and kidnapping me from my family. That was the last time I was home, March 17th, 2021. Even after the government grudgingly admitted in court that they were aware I committed no violence or damaged any property on January 6th and that there was no evidence that existed where I told anyone else to be violent either.
I am not the image that media and certain people in power want you to see as someone being held wrongly for that day. I’m simply a person no different than you; a patriot who loves this country, a country I signed a blank check on my life to defend, a country which is now ironically forcing me to rot in prison for exercising the same constitutional rights I took an oath the protect. I’m not violent, I’m not a racist, I’m not hateful, and I never was, nor will I ever be. All I ask, is for those following these cases, to really look at what the government is doing here. They are jailing innocent people on bogus and trumped-up charges because those people simply supported the sitting president at the time; which is absolutely insane. If you think it can’t happen to you, look at me, because if it can happen to me, trust me, it can happen to you. Please, if you will, share my story as much as you can to anyone who will listen so that people can see the total injustice going on and help to push for the release of my co-defendants and me so we can go return to our families where we belong. To anyone who has done anything thus far, whether it be a letter, a share, or a like, I thank you. To those planning on doing anything, thank you in advance! We will get through this, but we cannot do it alone, we need real patriots out there spreading the word and raising awareness through any peaceful means necessary.
God Bless you all and God Bless America!
Yours truly,
Zach Rehl

Another " story"asking for money. I would try to keep count, but it seems like all of them so....
Your grocery store and most other stores ask for donations too. You going to move off grid and self source due to that Mr high and mighty?

Haha - never once in that letter does he mention he’s the President of the Philadelphia Proud Boys org and is facing federal charges on the planning of the entire event. Charges that were upheld in December by a Federal judge appointed by Trump!

Like all of these folks, a simple google search will give a wealth of info to prove that he’s not some “innocent prisoner” that the government is unjustly holding.

Wonder how many hours he stole from the family he loves so much as he was climbing the Proud Boys ladder to President of his chapter?

was that letter written by an 8 year old? he should stay in jail just for having a masters degree and still writing something so riddled with errors and poor grammar.

First of all Proud Boys is not a Communist organization like Antifa and the dem party is so being involved with proud boys is not illegal.

Second of all he is still an American Citizen and should have been given the opportunity to be released on bail pending his trial.

First of all, I never compared the Proud Boys to Antifa or called it illegal. However, planning an event that would culminate in what happened on J6 is, which is why he’s on trial. Just pointed out how he conveniently left out “Proud Boys” in his plea for money. Wonder why?

Second of all he was twice denied bail in our criminal justice system due to the belief that he is dangerous. His due process is working, he just didn’t like the outcome. He’ll stay in jail until his trial for the 6 felonies he’s charged with against the US Government. He’s not illegally imprisoned.

I will disagree on why he was denied bail.

Google his name and you can answer that yourself. There is a wealth of info on why he is in prison and the list of charges against him.

He is in prison without being convicted yet. This guy is a marine that served his country. I know that doesn't give him a free pass, but look at how these people are being treated compared to the ones that committed big violent crimes the summer of George Floyd. It's a two tiered justice system in my opinion basically like the new American Gestapo.

Two-tiered justice system in America ? Never heard of it. Seems like something a radical leftist would complain about

You must not watch Hannity...LOL!!
Can’t say I have in a while. To your point, I think we have to be careful about situations where anyone is being held without bail or trial. I don’t want to spark a huge debate about the specifics of this case. The judge thought holding him was merited. I’ll leave it there; we have differing views on the whole situation to say the least.

What I don’t want to see is anyone’s judicial rights get eroded or the integrity of the Justice system get compromised.

This is a separate issue, but how did you feel about the foreign nationals who were held for years at Guantanamo without ever being charged with a crime? If you (the government) feel so strongly that they’re terrorists or involved with them, why not charge them?

Foreign nationals are not protected by our constitution. I do not know enough specifically about those cases to say one or the other based on the merits though. We have agreement that constitutional rights of American citizens need to be protected. What its come down to is our judicial system has been taken over and used as a weaspon by the left and the right. I personally think the left is much more egregious in how they do it but I am aware that my opinion is partisan toward my viewpoints on right and wrong. We need to get the judicial system fixed and its not by stacking scotus. We need to do away with lifetime appointments and make judges accountable in some form to the voters.

In other words - you either didn't research the facts surrounding his situation, or you just want to excuse them because he is a Trump supporter and you are using whataboutism to justify your stance.

Incorrect. I am not making a judgement as opposed to you who found an article that could be well be biased and made your judgement. i have opinions just like you but the fact that he was denied bail is a fact and what is the reason for it not including innuendo from an article?

There are hundreds of articles (I read at least ten to confirm facts from each one) covering his situation, which is why I told you to Google his name. That way you can pick the article from a source that you feel is not biased toward his beliefs. Contrary to what you've been told to believe, there are still many news sources in existence that report factual evidence when covering a news story and leave their personal biases on the sideline.
