When I got vaxxed I stopped wearing a mask (unless it was required by a private business then a I happily did it b/c I am not a dick). Then my wife (also vaxxed) got covid. I started wearing a mask again. I did not wear the mask to keep me from GETTING covid. I started wearing a mask again so that in case I had covid, there was less chance of me GIVING it to someone else.

Also, the science behind mask wearing is not as clear cut as you are trying to make it.

Actually guns for personal protection don't work great. Most people are terrible shots with a handgun, and even worse when under stress. People are far more likely to get hurt with their own gun. That's coming from a Guy with a CWP and I own multiple guns.
