The media were allowed to watch the first 45 or so minutes of today's practice, the first of the final two-a-day of camp. A few observations:
-- Stanton Seckinger was back in orange after missing several days, so that's good news. There's been some concern about his left knee, which he blew out last year against South Carolina. He still looks a bit tentative moving around, but the fact that he's no longer in yellow is a good sign.
-- Mike Williams was also back full-go after missing time last week with a hamstring injury. He looked fine to me.
-- The freshmen who arrived this summer were not here. Was told they are going through orientation at the university in preparation for Wednesday's start of classes.
-- Zac Brooks and Shadell Bell were in yellow today with what appear to be minor injuries.
-- Bunch of NFL scouts on hand, including representatives from the Bills, Dolphins, Pats, Bears, Jags, Chiefs and Cowboys.
-- If Marion Hobby is coaching you and you make a silly mistake, look the heck out. That's all.
-- Chad Morris is gone, but his "Balls in Jeopardy" tag remains. Tony Elliott was using the BIJ phrase as he coached his running backs on securing catches before turning upfield.
-- Korrin Wiggins (shown below) is watching practice with a big brace on his left knee. He seemed in good spirits given the circumstances.
Practice will be over soon, so we will have plenty more coming. Hope everyone is well.
