I'm heading to Atlantis for a 5 day trip. Any advice on local food. Sights that need to be seen? I will be accompanied by my pregnant gf so I need to find some activities that don't include getting wasted for 5 days

I stayed in Nassau one night and stayed at Atlantis and ate at the sushi place by the casino. It was great, but I was hammered.

I worked there for 4 months twice. Get away from the resort and tourist areas. Their entire economy is based on the 3/4 day tourist. Go to Stuart Cove to dive/snorkle. Many very good restaurants...ask for a guy named Naughty... a local comedian/DJ on the radio...tell them you know a guy from the movie "Into the blue" and that u are a Clemson fan...he'll know me(FF)..he will tell you where to go for food and good times. Try to take a fast boat ride to the exumas. Go to a place they call "FishFry" get a conch salad--you way...spicy sour salty ...hot. Good stuff. Try some local 'Souse'..usually saturday or sunday for hangover. It is a chicken broth soup with lime and local spices served with "Johnny Cake". Will get you on your feet again.
