If we can indeed get the recently missing KEY pieces on D back into the rotation, this D has a chance to develop into a NATTY kind of NASTY! You can't overlook the contributions of the missing pieces through the first half of the season. That, along with the SUPERB job of development with the 2s and 3s and sometimes 4s - through fire, is truly the makings of a D that can challenge anyone in the country. Of course, they will need to get and stay healthy.
Being able to hold good teams under 20 points or less, creates huge opportunities for our offense to further their own development without having to score TDs on every single possession. Building a complete playbook with confidence in your entire offensive unit is beginning to look very possible.
