Not saying this would have fixed all the issues on Monday night. Heck maybe not any of them. But how NCAA football is the only level of football that does not have some sort of preseason scrimmage against another team is beyond me. Even most other sports have it as well....exhibitions, scrimmages, friendlys, etc. Again, not saying that fixes all issues but going out there under the lights against another opponent would help you work some kinks out, see what you have, work on timing, etc. and overall make the first week of games a lot cleaner for all teams.
