Scariest flight I've ever been on yesterday leaving Cabo as the plane took off we immediately smelled like something was burning and the plane never ascended as normal then we flew over the coastline and I knew exactly what was happening, we were heading back to the airport.
Fortunately we landed safely with my wife praying in her hands and all I could think about were the boys at school and what would happen to them and obviously they never told us what it was but someone said a bird flew into the engine which I have a hard time believing yet I'm no engineer so who knows. I know my dad always told me after the plane in Dallas lost an engine on take-off and crashed that planes are designed to fly without an engine but you always read where planes are taken down by birds.
Oh well, I'm in Miami and bring on ND.
