Before jumping to any conclusions, can someone in the know precisely tell me what that is about and when it happened.

Quit trying to start threads to rile people up. It was a $3 million dollar campaign to get the necessary funds to build the Clemson campus.

My comment was clear, I didn't want to jump to any conclusions. I had just heard about today for the first time. Thank you for the explanation.

Was the 3m for the general Clemson campus or was it for something specific?

Mods??? Where are you now?
There is no mod.

Lol It was a Clemson (city) campus for New Spring. 1 of 17....

Can you kindly do some research before destroying our program with your cancer?
Are you freaking kidding me?

I want to make sure it's not tied to bullshit. I asked a legitimate question. Maybe there are others that want to initiate to stir the pot on this nonsense. I've never started a Newspring thread until now. Hearing 3m raised for the Clemson campus raises a red flag.

And yes, I do search for things for 98% of the time. This time I didn't.

As for spreading cancer, sounds like you need to hold up a mirror and see what's coming out of your mouth.

I sincerely apologize,

Here in SC it's all over the news about a pastor getting fired. Didn't mean to lash out at you but it's all BS

And there are mods here who are enabling the "mob"

NewSpring had been trying to start a clemson campus for a while but kept having deals fall through on plots of land.

If I remember correctly there was something about they had to have a certain percentage of the project funded by 12/15/15 in order to begin construction. That is why they had the $3 million campaign

Apology accepted. I am not a fan of Newspring but I do appreciate the good I'm sure they do.

When the words "Clemson Campus" and Newspring were passed along. Not thrilled. Why call it a campus? Call it the Clemson Church, Property, Location, Worship Center.

The word campus makes it sound likes it tied together. No thanks, don't need the extra attention.

You reap what you sow Newspringers. The guy just asked a simple question and people are losing their minds demanding mod action. I thought this was merica?

most churches that do multi-site call their satellite locations a campus

SD, to help you picture it a bit as you are apparently not in Clemson, Newspring bought the old Milliken mill on about 50 acres on the Oconee County side of US 76 and Perimeter Road-its just up from Y-Beach. The mill was removed. They are building a church on the back of the tract. The front end was flipped to a developer for mixed use development. Its a heck of a piece of land-Death Valley is visible out the rear of the site, and most everything else around it is owned by Clemson. I am not a NS guy, but the capital campaign to break ground sounds kind of typical. The campaign coupled with the cash from the developer should help in building the new church. Not much to see here-sounds like good stewardship to me.

So many on this board really need to get a life. It's honestly quite sad.

Boy, the "owners" are coming out in full force and are pissed off. Still haven't recovered from Nobles' bender?
