NFL’s most valuable vaccinated player. Who you got?

There's plenty of room for this thread where it'll end up

It’s sports related. Most would agree that MVP should include unvaccinated and vaccinated, but the lefties have to group everything.
If you think this thread will be on the subject of sports and won't eventually get moved to the round table.....you haven't been paying attention.

Posters who come in this thread and post this belongs in the round table.
Bull💩and Lol.
And they take the time to do it because they are on the board 24/7 and have an opinion in every thread. 2022 and still hatin this place. Happy New Year, peeps.

Rodgers makes a great point. The hypocrisy of the media is hilarious. Not voting for the best player for MVP for political reasons is like a coach not starting the best player because he isnt a Christian or because their gay or vice versa

The fact is, your responsibility as a voter for an award is to represent that vote in an unbiased way. That’s the problem with all of these awards these days.

Regional journalist vote for their guy. National and Regional journalist won’t vote for someone they don’t like regardless if they are deserving. It’s the problem with the Heisman as well

These lazy journalist don’t research, watch games outside of their coverage areas, and make lazy votes or vote with their heart rather than with the facts, stats, film, etc.

All of these awards both college and pro have lost luster. From pro bowl, to MVP, to Heisman, to all other awards.

Good for Rodgers standing up for what he believes in. Kneeling and standing for a cause was perfectly fine with all these leftist media members but they lose their mind when Aaron Rodgers stands strong on his stance

Kaepernick was a hero and Rodgers is a bum

I put those on ignore. Yes you are right, there is a small group that post their opinion in every single thread. I have no clue how you can work a normal job and monitor these threads like that

Regardless of your feelings about AR or the vaccine, screw that writer! He should no longer have a vote. The 50 writers that have the privilege of voting for MVP should act as professionals and vote purely on the performance of the players on the field.

Same thing going on in MLB. It's annoying and you are right, some of them need their voting revoked.

Aaron Rodgers is a drama queen that held the packers hostage and continues to make an ass of himself . He is a paid employee that lied about vaccination status and should be held accountable to team and league rules.

He has medical reasons to not take it. He said he as immunized so he was vague in his answers.

Fact is if he is allergic to ingredients in the vaccines and has medical reasoning they cannot force him to. Hell if you have religious reasoning you can’t be forced

No one can legally be forced to take it

I think they’re both free to do what they want as long as they’re willing to live with the consequences.

Rodgers knows the risk of not being vaccinated in terms of missing games or being quarantined. He accepted that and the Packers did too. The only thing I dislike is how the organization (and others have too I’m sure) stopped following protocol and got caught. That’s just dumb decision making, IMO. Whether you agree with the rule is another discussion but not following them is unwise.

Kaepernick also accepted his fate. He’s had a decent gig since but he’s also put his money where his mouth is by helping people in need with their legal situations and other causes.

I agree…but you can’t supports one’s decision to stand up for their beliefs and not the other. Kaepernick has used the publicity stunt to continue to make money elsewhere because he isn’t good enough to be an NFL QB and good for him…he found a way to market himself whether some agree or disagree

Rodgers stood behind what he believes in. Whether you agree or disagree that’s his right as an American. Isn’t that what the people who defended CK continued to use to justify not standing for the flag?

I 100% disagree with his stance. I don't have to support anything he says. No one is trying to take away his "right" to say what he thinks.

He sounds like a clown half the time and people call him out for it. Weird how you get defensive about that. But hey do you.

I am not defensive…just don’t think his vaccination status should play any roll in whether or not he is the NFL MVP if he deserves it…pretty simple

If he was advised by his doctors to not take the vaccine as he claims then who the hell are we to question? You think he cares if a message board poster from TI disagrees with his stance?

No one ever said you have to do anything. All the poster said is that it’s hypocritical to say Player A can say what he wants but Player B can’t.

Kaepernick thinks he is doing what’s best and so does Rodgers.

Again, no one is trying to take away Rodger's right to say what he says.

Well my first question would be why do you believe his claim that doctors advised him not to take it?

Because he clearly tried to skirt the system with his wordage and vague answer regarding vaccination status. He didnt fully stand for what he believed until he got called out.

That is his right. He doesn’t owe any member of the media any explanation. Players, coaches, etc give vague answers to media all the time on things that aren’t their damn business

His medical decisions are not the medias business

This. Not sure how you can even argue in favor of the voter who is outright saying his vote has nothing to do with football.

I agree with a lot what you are saying.regsrsif Rodgers, but do you agree that the voter who is not voting for based on personal feelings is abusing his privilege or do you think that it's fair game?

The lefties? So you are attributing this one dudes comments to all lefties now? How do you know the reporter's politics? Who is the reporter?'

If you bend the knee to big pharma you’re a leftie. I miss when they wanted to defund the police, but that was before they realized they need a robust police state to force people to accept their polices.

I typically call them fascist but leftie is fine too.

So if 70%+ of the population is vaccinated, I guess 70% are lefties? Should be really easy to win future elections.

He didn’t lie to the Packers or the NFL. He wasn’t forth coming with the media in an interview in which he said he was immunized. They asked no follow up to what that meant and he left it at that. The Packers absolutely knew.

Usually isn’t hard to spot a lefty…

I don’t know who this douche reporter is, but my money says he’s a lib…

No…there are plenty of conservatives that are vaccinated….
They just don’t shove it down everyone’s throat the way lefties do…
A conservative news reporter isn’t gonna vote or not vote for Rodgers based on his vaccination status…a lefty will…

Definitely abusing his privilege. With you there.

Eh it kinda is though when it impacts his ability to do his job which is what they are covering.

Beside that point, why didn't you answer my original question? He even admits to misleading people about his vaccination status.

So now you believe him and his doctors? If so, why?
