I know we've read about #'s of returning starters, snaps played, etc., but there's no way it can be overstated:
QB - True SO. (who has really only played in about 8 games)
RB - RS SO. (who only became a starter for the last quarter of last season)
best WR - True SO.
no returning starters on the Oline for the ND game
no returning starters on the Dline for the ND game
no returning starters at LB for the ND game
2 returning starters in secondary
new punter
new kicker
Offensive coordinator(s) have 4 games under their belt
The national media doesn't really want to acknowledge this information, they're just waiting for us to lose so they can say "Clemsoning" again.
Is Louisville any good? They'll likely be an 8 win team at season's end.
Should we have done a better job putting them away? Yes; but that's what REALLY young teams struggle with on the road.
We're probably not Top 10 good right now on the field. But assuming no more injuries, no one is going to want to play us the last third of this season.
