Despite what many say about playing a 1 high safety vs GT, today Notre Dame is showing how basing out of the 4-2-5/3-3-5 is the most effective way to stop the GT offense. People say GT will eat you up in the passing game if you have 1 safety...GT had zero yards passing in the first half. They shut down the option because no one can account for the free safety and the outside linebackers in the option. You can't block them both. Hats off to the ND staff. This is fun to watch!!!
