Well they were only on the field for 10 minutes, not 15.
Some people will be absolutely crushed by seeing this (positive) news.
So, for months you talked about how Tennessee was handling Covid way better than anywhere else, and you implied that elsewhere it was just political. How do you feel about that now? Tennessee's new cases are spiking again and the number of deaths is exploding.
Also, it should be noted that the Covid tests were administered on Sunday and Tuesday. That's less than 24 hours on the first one, and less than 72 hours on the second one. That was a ridiculous statement on his part.

Meanwhile the Flu and everything else is nearly gone. Its incredible, honestly. The most amount of people EVER died this year and the most EVER voted. Nobody dies of old age anymore. Wild times.
False negatives if you ask me. They're all in danger of coughing like 3 times this week.

Tennessee is doing just fine. No need to over react to an increase in cases or deaths. It will return to normal in a few weeks and a vaccine will be available soon.
By comparison 2.5 times as many people died from drunk driving in Tennessee last year but the highways remain open and alcohol sales are still going on. We need to curb drunk driving cases but don’t need to shut our highways down or close bars and restaurants.
Tennessee will weather any increase in cases and it will trend downward again soon.
It’s sad anytime someone dies but big picture remember that fewer than 4,000 people have died with Covid in a state with over 6 million people. That’s a tiny fraction of the population.
The vast majority of deaths were people that were already very sick and elderly and were dying of other causes before testing positive. 2/3 of all deaths with Covid are 70+ and 94% had serious underlying health issues.
We need to protect our most vulnerable and use safety protocols around them but we don’t need to shut down schools or businesses. Very, very few if any healthy young people have become seriously ill or died from Covid.
My opinion remains unchanged from this spring and that is after having close family members catch it as well.
It’s a serious threat for the elderly and the sick. All of our protection efforts should be on protecting them.
Well, it happens all the time BUT NOT FRAUDULENTLY. The only way that can happen is to vote by mail then kick off before Election Day. Happens all the time and has for as long as there have been absentee ballots. Hell, I was worried about it this year after I mailed mine in in early October.
Occasionally it gets caught and the ballot trashed. But I bet most get counted. Not enough to matter.

I see the numbers are increasing to record highs on an almost daily basis, and I see it being reported on legitimate news sources still. This 99.99% shit is BS as well. Compare the number of deaths to the number of cases in the US and worldwide. But I guess it is a hoax and yet another conspiracy(theory) to attack poor old Donald Trump. LMFAO!!!!

This is an infectious disease. The number of people who test positive will continue to increase no matter what we do. An infectious disease spreads in a population like a tide moves up the beach and washes away sand castles. It cannot be stopped no matter how self righteous and smart we pretend to be about controlling nature. If 10,000,000 people have had it in a country of 300,000,000 expect the numbers to keep rising. It’s math/epidemiology way more than masks/shutdowns/social distancing.
It must have been a demonstration for social justice, not a celebration. Demonstrations seem to be incapable of spreading the virus...just ask New York, Chicago, Minneapolis & Kenosha.

One thing I read was that any ND student/professor who was admitted to the game had to have passed a Covid test before admission

@nashvegastiger using some more of that Trump math I see. So, Tennessee had 379 deaths from drivers under the influence in 2019 (see link below). They currently have 3761 deaths from Covid-19 in 9 months. But somehow that equates to 2.5 times as many drunk driver deaths? By my math, there's actually been about 10x as many Covid deaths in 2/3 the amount of time. If you want to be truthful about the numbers, there are typically 10,000 deaths in the US yearly from drunk drivers. But please, keep spreading crap that isn't true.

It has disappeared as a newsworthy topic. There's only 1 article out of about 50 on CNN's website that talks about COVID. On MSNBC's putrid site, there's 1 article about COVID out of about 70 articles on the front page. FoxNews, by comparison, has 4 articles. I don't see any mention of COVID on my Twitter feed anymore. So COVID may still be out there, but no one cares anymore. It doesn't generate clicks.
I have seen it spoken about several times in the past few days. Trust me I wish it would go away. I'm not some far left nutjob at all, but I believe people should wear masks and social distance as suggested by the large majority of scientists and medical professionals. We have seen what happens when people don't wear masks at the White House. What should be one of the safest work environments in the world has had multiple cases with Mark Meadows (No one in the world uses Purell more than me) being one of the most recent cases.

The fact that we have all grown numb to it and have relaxed our safe practices (mask wearing, hand washing, social distancing), even though the experts are saying its about to get bad again, has created a situation where virus spread could run rampant again.
I know the TI experts will tell me how low mortality rates are, but I've known 3 people to die from this and many more who will testify as to how serious we should all be taking this. Everyone has a different story and experience. Mine has been severe enough that I'll air on the side of caution.
When this thing is all over (treatments continue to improve and a vaccine is widely available and used), I'll be the first person out there living my normal life, traveling, and going to concerts. But until then, I just don't trust the majority of you to do the right thing when the time comes to it.
