Just rewatched the 2015 CU-ND game and had several observations about that game and the overall 2015 season that might lead to some good discussion. Just some random thoughts.
- For an all-day atmosphere, despite the rain, probably # 1. College Gameday on campus, tailgating was awesome, full stadium, just overall great day. Rainfall actually made it fun. ND fans were actually cool and complimentary.
- Definitely a top 5 game atmosphere/opponent I've attended in the Valley. In no order, 77 ND, 81 UGA, 87 UGA, 16 Ville, and several USC games.
- ND had 2 1st RD selections on the OL: Ronnie Stanley and Mike McGlinchey. Pretty incredible.
- Never seen 2 players in Kevin Dodd and BJ Goodson turn into an absolute stud in a season like these two. Neither contributed until the 2015 season! Came out of nowhere. We remember Dodd for sacks and TFL. Goodson was incredible and all over the place.
- Artavis Scott: so underrated. As good as A Williams is and Rodgers was, give me A Scott.
- Cordrea Tankersly was criminally underrated. Just made plays and was key contributor in 2016.
- This is for a big debate: @24TIGER, William Perry is the biggest Freak in CU Football history and his "freakiness" translated to the field. I think Jaron Kearse is the 2nd biggest freak in CU Football history; however, his often-lackadaisical effort did not translate to a Clemson great. He made a lot of great plays, just took plays off as well. I was fortunate to watch Terry Kinard play at Clemson and to be coached by TK's high school coach. TK's HS coach said Tk was an all-time great due to talent and effort. TK was the greatest safety ever at Clemson. Kearse could have matched that with a similar "TK" attitude.
- Not a negative, but it did seem the 2015 PROGRAM had more talent and, importantly, attitude then the last 3-4 years teams. The 2015 team had an attitude that has been missing for the past several years.
