I don't understand why there are conference officials vs simply NCAA or Power 5 officials. However, since you can have your own officials within a conference, why not tell them to do what the $EC does. Don't tell them to be totally unethical and call what they don't see, but remind them who signs their paychecks and make sure the higher ranked team gets taken care of whenever there is a call (especially a hold or pass interference) that could go either way at a critical point in the game. It is no accident that late season SEC games and the SEC Championship games always turn out in the best possible way for the SEC. Mike Slive always understood this.
