I recently cut the cord and got a Roku TV and have subscribed to Sling TV. Now I discover that locally it appears the game is going to be broadcast on the CBS affiliate. I have a set of rabbit ears that will pick up NBC and ABC but not CBS. I have been toying with the idea of installing an attic antenna but this is moving up my timetable.

Here's my problem... the previous owners of the house seem to have been involved with every method of receiving TV imaginable. There are multiple small dishes on the roof, etc. There are 3 of what appears to be threaded coax cable terminals in wall boxes in the living room and there is RG 6 coax cable running all over the attic. I'd like to take advantage of this for my antenna.

Is there any way to send some sort of test signal through these cables from the attic and detect the signal in the living room to help me figure out what cable goes to what terminal? Or am I stuck with trial and error? TIA
