According to the talking heads of the media, a one loss ACC champion most likely gets left out of the playoff picture. Well then how in the HELL did a one loss Ohio State team, with its one loss to a pathetic ACC team, make the playoffs last year much less win the national title? I would love to hear any of those jackasses dance around that question.
The Big10 and ACC are very similar conferences. Each has two true power teams, a couple of teams on a second tier who have the potential to have solid seasons, and the rest of the conference pretty much blows. Why isn't anybody talking about whether or not an undefeated Ohio State should make the playoffs given its weak ass schedule? They would be no different than the undefeated FSU team who people questioned whether or not should make the playoffs a year ago.
True journalism is a lost art in the national media. They are almost all gossip hounds and pot stirrers.
