Tyler Davis suffered an injury in Saturday's game and based on some things we have heard from contacts over the last 24 hours it is firmly on our radar right now.
This morning we reached out to Clemson football communications director Ross Taylor to ask whether Davis will be out for an extended period (as y'all might know, Dabo Swinney's policy during the season is not to discuss availability/unavailability of players during the week unless it involves injuries that result in long-term absences.)
Taylor responded with: "Coach says he'll provide any updates on Tyler on the radio show this evening."
Yesterday, in discussing how Bryan Bresee has fought through a shoulder injury suffered in the opener against Georgia, Swinney said:
"That's kind of been the injury of the year, I guess."
Certainly, we will update as soon as we hear more on this whether it's during Swinney's radio show (8-9 PM) or before.
