Why is there not a common trait/germ/whatever that could be treated and prevent the new viruses that keep popping up based on the original Covid virus? Here's my conspiracy theory question....let's just say that Fauci helped, or mistakenly aided, the Chinese create this monstrosity. Could it have been cellularly constructed to mutate multiple times purposefully?

It just seems too convenient, and timely, for our world to become so infected in so many locations at the same time the way things have played out. Can, or will, Covid 19's original cause be found out? Anyone have their own theory(s) about it?

My wife and I are waiting to run to CVS at 2:30 to have a rapid test run after Pfzer vaccinations in Louisiana in May, Covid in August and Boosters recently. This isn't about me. It:s about my wife that's still recovering from August. This crap has to stop. It took my brother and be damned if it takes my wife if I can help it. Hopefully it's just flu or different virus we're feeling.

The virus was NOT an accident.

Sure was not hoax. The main issue I had the whole time was how they were counting the deaths. Recently there has been talk about dying with and of Covid. Way too many died because of Covid but I always wondered if the numbers were inflated a bit. I also wish there was more focus on overall health now. Being overweight was a huge factor in Covid deaths as well.

This thread is crazy. Y’all need to take off the tin foil hats. I’m a physician and this is not a shocking thing. The flu virus mutates yearly and we have different strains in the vaccine from year to year. There have been concerns for a long time in the medical community that coronaviruses could do something like this. We don’t control viruses well at all. Bacteria you can treat with antibiotics. Viruses not so much. There are some antivirals out there but it’s mainly symptomatic treatment. This is why vaccines are so important. As we say in medicine, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Incorrect. Tons of data showing the vaccine prevents severe disease. Which is pretty much what the flu shot does too. Some vaccines are pretty good at preventing illness from occurring at all. Initially the COVID vaccine worked well against the alpha strain to prevent illness. As subsequent mutations evaded immunity, the efficacy waned. However it continues to work well at preventing hospitalization and death. Again, I’m an MD. So I’ve done a bit of studying to speak with some authority here.

There is a kindergarten to 12 th grade school in SC that has not closed for one day nor used remote learning

when every other school in SC closed and remote this school stayed open safely and taught the children in person the last two years and is continuing to do so

You have to wonder if they could do it why could not the rest

easy answer is that the money was in crying wolf and making the Pandemic a crisis beyond the level it should have been considered
