Romney when he jumps into the race?

the people who own this country do not want trump and they are paying millions if not a billion to stop him.

what about you dems, jumping on the biden wagon if clinton is indicted?

Simply answering your question, as a Republican, if Romney were to jump in the race he would have my vote without question.

The only scenario where I wouldn't vote for him is if it split the vote even more than it is now between Trump, Rubio, Kasich, Cruz, Romney. One would think that scenario would give trump even more staying power. His supporters are who they are and his share of the vote won't change. Many Cruz, Kasich, and Rubio supporters would either flip to Romney or stay put spreading out the remaining vote even more. That would be counter active to supplanting Trump. In that case, I would be against Romney jumping in, even if I would vote for him.

man i really want trump to win now.

ive never seen so much hatred spew from former gop leaders. this is stuff of middle school lore going down right in front of us this year.

ands its all the guys who are in bed with the establishment or globalist

I am just about to the point where I think we need to burn it all down and rebuild. I think a Trump presidency might be disastrous in the short term, but bring positive changes, to our political system at least, in the long term. Perhaps it's what we need to show the politicians we are pissed and want the situation to change. So to answer the question, I think Romney would be a better President, but he would be just another status quo politician. If Trump wins the nomination I'll vote for him (assuming Hilary is the Dem nominee that is.)

the change we want is for politicians to put the american flag and its actual born citizens at the forefront of its decisions

slowly giving away our power money and resources abroad and to a few elitist are just eroding main street slowly away

those people down care if america falls, they smply move out of the country.

once someone is wealthy enough to transient the globe, they could care less about what happens to good old americans stuck here

consitutional convention is needed

and with people of middle class citizenry

i wouldnt let one national politician be involved, they would just corrupt the outcome

I used to like Romney but now just look at him as a country club establishment Republican hack.

If Trump has a huge amount of delegates and they steal the nomination, it would set the Repubs back 50 years. Trump would go independent and take his voters with him.

The Repubs would lose the Congress and Senate also. Trumps expanding the Republican Party the way Reagan did. These old establishment dinosaurs just are afraid of losing their power, influence, and money. They thumbed their noses at their constituents for years, and this is the result. They have no one to blame but themselves.

its good for amerca, maybe the republcan party will drop the hard stance on

1- social issues and

2-controlling the world as an empire

and we can get back to fiscal restraint and main street politics

We need someone unafraid to look Majority and Minority leaders in the eye and say "fvck you". We need someone who will hire freaking pros that know wtf they're doing. We need someone that wants something done who will tell them have it on my desk in 30 days when these peckerheads have zero sense of urgency. We need someone that can be diplomatic enougjh to smile and tell Putin to fvck himself. These assholes want their country club life to remain status quo while we eat beans. THAT is who Trump is and why I'm voting for him.

If this thing goes to the convention and Trump has over a million more votes than any other candidate, he will run on a third party ticket if they put Romney in over him. Romney already had his shot and blew it. I would be much more in favor of Paul Ryan if we are just hand picking a candidate that didn't have to run through the debates. Trump is going to be our nominee and I think he has a better chance than people give him to beat Hillary.

I also think Trump is like a roller coaster that has never been tested. It looks like it could be lots of fun, you know there will be ups and downs, and there is still a very small chance the train could come totally off the track and kill everyone on board. Chances are, it will just be thrilling and he will probably uncover lots of BS that is happening in DC. I did not vote for him in the primary but would in a general election.

Trump isn't expanding the Party.... he may be gathering a following, but they are loyal to him not the party. Think about it, are you supporting him because he is a Republican or because he is an outsider to the party? As happy dissenters, his followers will vote for him and reject down ballot party candidates.

If Trump is nominated, he will have zero or negative coattails resulting in the loss of at least the Senate and maybe the House. Remember that the Senate is the key to 'managing' presidential appointments (courts and regulatory bodies) and is the easiest chamber to block legislation. With his turnoff of every other demographic being associated with the Republican party( fairly or unfairly), I would guess that the Republicans are looking like another 40 years in the wilderness like they experienced after the Hoover administration.

This campaign season is an absolute disaster. If Trump isn't nominated the party is split with him running a third party campaign, likely resulting in a loss in the presidential campaign and maybe the senate. Party loyal Republicans (those that elect Senators and Representatives) will be lukewarm and may sit it out or maybe vote third party (some may actually vote Dem). If he is nominated, he will likely be annihilated by whoever the Dems trot out, resulting in a loss of the presidency, the Senate and maybe the House. Even if he wins, he likely inherits a Democrat Senate and maybe House-- then we get to see the historically non-conservative Trump deal maker working with the Dems.

Given the choices we have for president, I would rather have the veto proof 60 votes in the Senate to control whoever is elected as the next president is likely to be either unprepared (Rubio/Sanders/Cruz) or an egotistical immoral disaster (Clinton/Trump). If anything, we need to put the imperial presidency back into the bottle- too many EOs by recent presidents and too many promised by the candidates.

putin is on our side. putin is against this group of globalist who are trying to control the worlds resources

read the daily ww3 reports from syria and turkey and you notice it sounds more like the russian military is doing what the our military should have done years ago.

with us being in bed with al queda and isis, especially to overthrow a leader of a country because he refuses to do what we tell him.

whats this world come to when now we have given our president the authority to overthrow and kill leaders of other nations

App...Putin don't love him no America. He looks at Obama as a 90 lb. moron. He is kicking ISIS ass. Had we had a President that wasn't/isn't a Muslithis apologist ISIS wouldn't be here.

o i agree, most world leaders look at obama as a moron and cant understand why we elected him

same goes for bush jr, many leaders around the world thought he was a moron too.

reagan bush then clinton had us firmly as leaders on the world stage

then 9-11 happen and bush jr mismanaged the rest of his administration, then we voted in another guy not good enough to be the president.

i could care less if they lean left or right, i just dont want someone on either extreme or someone who thinks they are above the law

they work for us. all of us. the president should be the lowest man on the totem pole.

for some reason, our politicians think that if they get elected that they all think they are better than everyone else

pain in the butt seeing this childish behavior from grown adults we pay qtr a million a year to to manage a job

think about that, we pay these morons $250,000 a year to act like grown children.

and they dont quit, they dont resign, they have no honor
