I know WAY off topic!
I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with about 230k miles... It's a third vehicle and primarily serves for trash runs and hauling firewood, so it's likely only seeing a few thousand miles yearly these days... I have all the symptomatology of a leaking gasket, i.e. overheating, losing coolant without noticeable signs of a leak, bubbling coolant in the reservoir tank, white smoke from the tailpipe, water from the tailpipe, etc... I don't have the mechanical wherewithal to actually replace the gasket myself (if that is indeed the issue), and obviously have some serious reservations around sinking a lot of money into the labor to have it done on a vehicle of this age/mileage... I do however have enough confidence in flushing the radiator, removing the thermostat, and running this through the cooling system... I've seen tons of great success stories online, and if I can even sustain the life of this vehicle for even another 10-15k it would get me though another 4-5 years... Anyone have any experience with this product? Thoughts?
