It's interesting as hell the partisans on both sides...

I'm sure everyone on this board knows how I feel about Trump, but I don't have a problem with Trump golfing. Everyone needs downtime. I DO have a problem with Trump busting Obama's balls over it and claiming that HE WASN'T going to do that and would just be at the WH working all the time. One of the 1st things he did as President was put a golf simulator in the WH and if I recall correctly he's played more golf in his 1st term than Obama played in 8 years.

Again, not begrudging the man down time, BUT Trump's hypocracy (and that of his followers) drives me NUTS. FoxNews used to bitch every time Obama went out... but crickets for Trump. Ditto for the media blasting Trump now that were silent about Obama.

You are reaching on the golf simulator part. Erodes the meat of your point. Makes you sound like the prototypical emotional lib. He might also have an Xbox hooked up to a TV somewhere too. Yawn.

To your point about golf. I agree. The POTUS lives in a bubble. Playing a round of golf now and again is not the end of the world. He has a full communications suite following him in the golf cart behind his...and probably was on a call on the way to the course and 15seconds after getting in his limo afterwards.

However if someone were comparing. I'd think it probably acceptable to also compare the score on holiday vacations to Hawaii, which entail so much more logistical planning and expense and inconvenience far more businesses and military personnel.

One thing that struck me as interesting. Seriously, I'm not trying to be an ass with this question. You specifically named Fox News, but then you used "the media" when talking about the coverage of Obama. Why? How do you define "the media" in this instance?
