OT: Curious anyone had Covid Twice?

Just wondering because I don't really trust any news sources. Any one had Covid Twice or more? are you sure? how'd you do? Vax status?

Twice. Tested positive both times. First time was worse than the second but both times got me pretty good. Just getting over the second time. First time I was supposed to get my first shot but tested positive the day before. I was vaxed for the second time but don’t have my booster.

No, I don't trust the news or the government. Any of it. In today's world, most news is about having extreme commentary one way or the other. There are too many agendas with too much money to be made for me to simply trust these sources today. The people on this board could lie about this, but most don't have reason to lie about this topic. I didn't ask for their opinions just facts about having Covid Twice.

If you do trust the news, more power to you. Although, I'm not sure how anyone has gone through the last two years without losing some sense of trust in the media or government. By the way this is a non partisan answer.

Preach it. Looking to November to see any change since 2020 with "We the People" choices.

Haha, yea for real. My plasma ought to be worth some money for all my antibodies. I actually got the flu over the New Year's holiday while in Africa. I spent the day in a visa office and traveling while taking Tylenol around the clock to break my fevers.

I don’t care what your decision is, it’s a personal choice. But bragging about not getting Covid “because” you didn’t get the vaccine is the type of reasoning that will land you on that site (and I hope you never do, don’t wish you any harm at all).

It’s more reckless being part of a medical experiment to save you from the common cold.

Omicron wouldn’t exist without selfish people taking therapeutics pretending to be a vaccine.

This is not my opinion, just a report. I heard a very reputable Dr with multiple degrees in immunology and Virology say that it was impossible to have Covid twice. I thought surely he was blowing smoke, but if you do a little research, it is very hard to find concrete documented cases where people have had it twice. Very strange. It’s going to be very interesting to see the long term fallout from Covid.

Viruses mutate all the time. Most of the time to be more infectious and less deadly. It’s not in a virus best interest to be kill off all its hosts. I do think you’re right tho, these shots are doing something.

Unvaxxed step son had it a year ago and again last week. Very minor symptoms both times. I know several fully vaxxed people who have had it once since vaccination. I dont think I know of any vaxxed people who have had it twice though.

Brother in law never had it until he broke down and got vaxxed after Thansgiving so they could hopefully enjoy a Hawaiian vacation this month. A few days after getting the shot he was sick as a dog and then his wife got it.

The only sure fire thing about Covid is there is no sure fire thing about it. I still believe the best defense against it is the passage of time and natural immunity.
