I'm in 2 leagues. One of them doesn't allow any player pickups until Tuesday of each week. I think that is fair for all of the teams in the league. My other league allows picking players up mid-game. I work a lot of Sundays, so sometimes I'll leave work to find out that my starting runningback was injured and someone else already picked up his backup. They won't change the rules because a few of the teams realize the huge advantage they have of picking up players while other people can't. I can check my phone at work, so I just need to know the fastest way to get updates on Gameday since I can't always be watching. Is there a way to get text notifications for instant pickups or injuries? I can't find anything that would work well. Also, I don't want to handcuff all of my players by taking up roster slots. I just want to have the same chance to make a pickup.
