This may be a dumbass question.

I have two firesticks. When I try to watch one in one room & somebody watches the other one in another room, it knocks one of us off causing us to watch the same thing.

Is this how it is or is it possible to watch 2 firesticks at the same time?

Thanks

I use Sling (Dish owned), and it can be played on 4 devices at same time.

I use 2 in my home, seems to work fine. I renamed them in the router to make sure I could check bandwidth use by both simultaneously.

Usually we are both trying to watch the Dish app or Netflix at the same time

If you are logged in as the same user profile through netflix on both devices this will happen. You need to switch profiles.
