I can understand how this has stuck with so many people via commercials, advertisements,etc.... but this popular idiom is NOT true. Answer one simple question before you post. Is a God given right free?
If you have any common sense whatsoever you will answer yes, of course it is, so why is this propaganda pushed so much? I know exactly why. Nobody wants to talk about individual liberty anymore so the word freedom is substituted instead. Individual liberty is what you MUST fight for EVERY single day but no military man or women is going to protect your individual liberty, YOU are! As long as we each do that the freedom that was granted by God to each man women and child at birth won't be sacrificed.
Memorial Day is to recognize our fallen family or friends, let's keep it that way and not turn it into something it was never intended to be.
