I’m looking at new appliance packages for the kitchen. I’m currently trying to decide if I want to go upper end of what Lowe’s/HD offer (~10-14k range) - or bump up a tier to a Thermadore package (~28k).
I don’t know much about appliances, nor does the wife. About the only “must” is an oversized refrigerator and a gas range.
What’s the big difference in these luxury brands that are 2-3x more than the top end Samsung/GE/LG/Whirlpools? I’m willing to pay up - just need to know why I am and what I’m getting. It’s it mostly just reliability/ longevity? To me, a dishwasher is a dishwasher - an oven is an oven - a fridge is a fridge.
