My daughter's BP spiked this afternoon and she went down. Seizures. Swelling to the brain. IF the swelling continues she'll be moved to Greenville for surgery. She is my baby and I cant say I've ever been more scared.

She is a Clemson grad. If you have eaten at SummaJoes in Anderson, she is the Summa in SummaJoe. Please pray for her. I''ll keep you in the loop. Thank you

UPDATE ..Multiple aneurysms. Sent to Greenville and surgery some time today. I'm just praying. She is in His hands now.

UPDATE....OK. My info to date has been my ex. Not the best information from her GB her. That's her baby and she is obviously upset. Here's the not nearly so doom and gloom situation. She is awake. She answers questions. It appears short term memory is affected right now. While she has had swelling, it's not out of control. Her BP is under control. From the way things were explained to me by my ex SIL(I love that young man), it sounds like they're going to run a camera and determine the direction to go in. Too early to determine many things like brain damage. If any doctor wants to chime in please feel free. I'm headed to Greenville early in the morning.

I am assuming the best and the best is Summer has a long row to hoe. She has a 13 year old and a 17 year old. Both very active in school, band, dancing. They have their family battles like you all do. Teens will drive your ass bonkers as it is. They're good people. Thank you ALL for your notes and prayers. They're working already.

UPDATE: Looked into my daughter's eyes when we arrived. That's what it takes for me. She's got a long row to hoe. LONG. Waiting for blood to either go away on it's own or they'll need to do what it takes for it go away and relieve all the pressure. She's tired and looks like she tied one on for a month, but knows everyone, what happened, her age, etc. I am "cautiously optimistic".

I feel better. I will be making many trips to the Upstate in the coming days. Until she's officially out of the woods, I'll continue to give updates. Thank you all for your prayers. Don't stop please.

UPDATE 3-8-24

If any of you have ever dined at SummaJoes and met Summer, you know she's full of piss and vinegar and never stops. My deaf ass has to beg her to slow her speech speed down. That's her this morning. But she's still not there. TODAY is a BIG day. Looking to see if the blood is going away on its' own. This is a HUGE step.

What boggles the mind is I can have a conversation like we just had and I could lose her in the beat of a heart. I'll UPDATE late today. My family and I appreciate these prayers. Many folks scoff at the requests. I pray for them as well.

UPDATE 3-8-24 #2

The procedures showed Summer proving tremendously! No other aneurysms that could see, the blood is dissipating and they're moving her to "the floor". This is news that we prayed for. It ain't over. The fat lady ain't humming. But it's a start. Answers to prayers are real. You may not always get what you ask for. I asked for a mother to continue raising two kids who need her. So far so good.
