I bought some rainbow trout and had it in the freezer for a couple days... I thawed it out today and it has a slight odor... Its not terribly strong, but it is noticeable... Another thing is it LOOKS PERFECT, nice color, not mushy, good texture etc... it just has a odor to it... right now it is seasoned and ready to fry in my fridge for tomorrow... should I return it or eat it??
