Need some advice here if you don't mind:
My laptop is loaded with music and I want to free up space by moving a bunch of it to an external hard drive.
Given that I'm seldom around my external hard drive and frequently away from the house, I'd rather not run iTunes only through my external.
So the question: What do I have to do to move music back and forth, and back again? I want to be sure I don't lose any of the accompanying stuff like album artwork, song order, etc.
I'm considering moving my entire library to the external, and then just creating a new library for my laptop through which I can just copy what I want to from the hard drive library. Does this make sense?
Thanks in advance!
