Counties with fewer than 10 submissions, in order from least:
SURVEY SAYS: HASH
Still compiling data from our SC BBQ Survey. Manually calculating the responses for each county is a chore, but here is a peek into some early results.INTERESTING DATA FROM SC BBQ SURVEY REGARDING HASH:
- Pork is the most popular hash type, making up 60.93% of the total vote for favorite type of hash.
- "Don't Like Hash" was the second most selected category overall beating out Beef hash. Chesterfield County led all counties in this category with almost 40% of respondents picking "I Don't Like Hash."
- Respondents from the following counties preferred Beef Hash over pork: Cherokee, Chester, Dillion, Greenwood, Spartanburg, and Union.
- Liver hash was popular in Marion, Darlington, Dillon though not the top vote getter in any of those. However, Liver hash led for Florence County with almost 35% of the vote.
- "Over Rice" was the most popular way to eat hash by a wide margin, however, voters from Cherokee and Union Counties chose "On Bread" 60+% of the time.
