I wanted to start a new thread so this gets the most attention. We need specific prayers. I know you will lift this child up in prayer. This is the latest on Addi:
Addi Update (please read):
Addi hasn’t had a good day today. She had 2 seizures as a result of her immuno suppression meds (we think). Her ICU team did a CT after the seizures to make sure she was ok, and the scans were normal. She had no signs of any blood clots, so that’s good. Her STATs are also normal. The doctors gave her anti-seizure medicine and she’s been sleeping since. Her fever and swelling that occurred also is better.
We truly appreciate everyone’s love and support and ask for your continued prayers for Addi! Melanie asked me to post this so your prayers can be for Addi’s specific healing. We pray that her body accepts her heart and the medicine that she needs to take daily to fully recover.
I do also want to kindly ask that if you can, please refrain from messaging Melaine until Addi is out of the hospital. Melanie spends every moment in the ICU with Addi and may not be able to respond timely. Again we so much appreciate all of the support and true kindness everyone has shown our family! We pray blessings come back to you 10x fold. Your prayers are the exact support that Addi and Melanie need right now!
