Any recommendations within a reasonable budget? I was given a cheap one late last year when I purchased a WSM smoker and it lasted for a month maybe. I did some research for another and went with a Thermopro TP20 based on the high reviews, but it's as good as broken after the display reads an internal temp of 160 + as soon as you insert the probes into the raw meat. The readings then just continue to rise. A whole chicken I smoked read about 500 degrees when done....when it was really 160 - 165.
