The wife and I just bought our first house a couple months ago, so, while improving, I'm still pretty ignorant on most everything.
A couple of the trees aren't looking the best. Half of the growth on them, at least, is dead, and I don't want to have a bigger issue by not doing anything. I have a tree service coming out a week after next to take a look, but I'm hoping to figure out a little bit of what is going on before then. I have attached a few pics. The base of each looks like it may have some fungus on it.
If anyone cares to leave a suggestion, it would be appreciated. In the meantime I'll be killing weeds. At least my lawn isn't the worst on the street. Where's my Adult Life sticker?
