I took my son up to Cherokee over the weekend for the Trout Fishing Derby they have for kids up there. It was our first time doing it, and I have to say I think I caught the bug (even if I didn't catch a fish). Does anyone have any recommendations for good river access in the Greenville/Pickens/Oconee areas to go start fishing some more? My son is young, and this won't be an Orvis-level type thing. Just want some places to hop out of the car and walk up/down a river a bit. Thanks in advance!
