My wife totaled her car last week and her insurance already paid us. We have about 5 days before the rental car won't be paid for anymore. We're looking to get a 2014 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. We already decided to get that model, but were planning on doing it about a year and a half from now. There is a certified pre-owned that is listed at $22,600, which is the price KBB has for a non-certified...good condition. KBB shows a CPO in very good condition at around $25,000. I know the car is in great condition bc we test drove it about 2 months ago. It's also the exact year, model & trim that we want. Since it's listed at a pretty fair price, what's my strategy tomorrow? Offer 21k and see what they counter? Tell them $21,500 and it's a done deal? I hate haggling, so just looking for the easiest way in & out of that place.
