I’m 4 days post 2nd shot and still experiencing significant flu like symptoms such as 100-101 fever, aches, sniffles, and coughing. Before the vaccine I never missed a day of work due to covud, never skipped a wrestling class, etc. 51yo, in good shape for my age, no underlying health issues. For me the vaccine was likely way worse than actual covid.

I felt like crap after moderna 2nd shot for 36 hours. Hope you feel better

For what it’s worth, I know zero people with any real complications from vaccines, or any vaccinated people that had to go to hospital with Covid

I know several unvaccinated people who died of Covid.

It’s worth getting vaccinated

Started feeling bad, flu like symptoms, about 12 hours post shot. About 12 hours after the symptoms started, I started feeling normal again.

Your body has put up a fight against it - probably being fit and in shape, I've read you will have more severe symptoms with your health and age.

I'm 56, in decent shape - had the moderna shot, only felt bad on the 2nd shot the following day - and only then about 8 hours of it.

You should probably call your doctor after 5 days of it to see. Could actually have it.

Are you sure you don't have the covid?

I had Covid first in January.

Then I got the Pfizer shot at the VA in April.

I only had minimal side effects for about a day after each shot. I felt like crap but it wasn't near as bad as actual covid. Not even close.

Also, the vaccine totally helped with my Long haul symptoms. I had lingering soreness and fatigue and the shot cleared it up.

Also, I have had three EKGs, 2 x-rays, and CT scan of my heart before being allowed to have my knee scoped. Thank goodness everything looks good and I got no cardiac damage from having Covud or the vaccine.

I had both shots and will get the booster in a few weeks and I had zero issues. I hate you’re still having health problems and hope you get better soon.

It affects everyone differently! My Wife and Daughter had some side effects, but I had none.

67 here had virus in Jan. Had fever off and on for a day, no other effects. 1st shot no effect but was sick 2 days after 2nd shot

I had so little reaction to it (barely a sore arm) that I wondered if I had even gotten it. Sorry to hear OP is struggling with it. I’ve heard 1 in 5 have a a immune response similar to the flu.

51 yo and just to give you my perspective, I had a headache the day after my second Pfizer shot, but that was it and it could have been coincidental. My arm was more sore after the first shot than the second.

Update, somehow they say I caught covid and the symptoms arrived exactly when the shot symptoms did. Double whammy, and I did 2 2hour Bjj classes in the first 3 days. Feeling a tad better but I have some connections in the medical field so I’m getting some sort of infusion tomorrow.. thanks everyone for the input and well wishes!

About 12 hours after my first shot, it kicked my butt. Couldn't sleep that night and had to stay home the next day. Was fine after about 24 hours of the "flu." Shot #2, no issues.
