Was told today by someone who sat on the committee at the time, that a parking deck was approved for Lot 5...said it was to have a walkway that connected to stadium for fans to walk across to access DV.
He told me this several years ago but today he added that the reason it didnt come to fruition was 9/11 happened and the feds said you couldn't build a parking deck that close to a stadium for fear of bombs.
So it went away.
Any inside knowledge from anyone on here?
