Must have missed where Canada and Australia devolved into tyranny.
When I think of tyrannical leaders, I think of strong men who can't accept the possibility that they're wrong, are willing to subvert the rule of law to maintain power indefinitely for themselves and their goons, invent crisis and assign blame to domestic and/or foreign enemies, and have some sort of cult following that makes it all happen.
