Wanted to get thoughts on a topic a fellow Clemson fan brought up today. He misses how players in previous years were more prominent at the top of the hill as compared to being held back by the coaches and strength staff as is currently done. Here's his quote:
"Its time for a change at the top of the Hill this Saturday when the team gets off the buses: I want Mack Alexander and Jayron at the top of the Hill on Saturday night, front and center of the team. Dabo and Batson need to move back off to the side or get back to the middle of the crowd along with the other coaches and put the players in front of this crowd and let them get fired up. Let’s have Dantzler style shadow boxing, players jumping up and down, and just going crazy, then let them have at it. Let’s have it without the coaches blocking the view and holding them back. There may be some “leakage” of players down the hill a bit, but let’s take the chance and get some intensity to start this thing right!"
Have to admit I like the idea of Jayron and Mack up front for Saturday.
Anybody else miss the players being a bit more prominent at the top of the Hill? Personally I like how it is now.
