This is what is happening, & it’s happening because of 2 things: money to hospitals, & to skew the statistics for manipulation by people with political motives.

Anyway, the idea that stuff like this is significantly inflating the death numbers doesn’t make much sense. The people who determine cause of death aren’t out there falsifying records because a hospital gets paid more because it’s treating COVID patients.

When my mother passed away July 14, the nursing home told us to make sure her death certificate did NOT list Covid as her cause of death. She died of natural causes.
I also know for a fact that if you test positive the first time and Then retest and it is also positive, it counts twice. It takes at least 30 days from the onset of the symptoms to be released from your body. People are testing over and over to get a negative result in order to go back to work, etc. I had Covid and was told not to retest too soon after. I waited 6 weeks...

Sorry to disappoint you but the funeral home would have no way to test (that I know of) and the funeral home wouldn’t have any reason to Chang a cause of death. Someone benefits from a COVID diagnosis but it sure isn’t a funeral home!

One word against the other. The medical doctor signed off on it. If there is a mistake, it is on him. Doesn't require a huge, state government conspiracy. I just dont know why he would place his medical license on the line just to pad a number . On the medical=legal side of things, a medical doctor is free to make a diagnosis within a reasonable degree of medical certainty based on the criteria set before him. The treating physician does not always need a diagnostic test to make such a diagnosis. Looks to me like just a bunch of second guessing by the family who are looking for something to gripe about and who would never admit that one of them possibly exposed grandma to Covid while she was in their care or visitation. Finally , the woman's' primary causation of death is listed as Alzeheimers and family says she had dementia. She would not have known how to complain anyway about her symptoms, whether Covid or not. The family should request a consult with the medical doctor before they go running their mouth off to the media and causing Trump lovers like amyhopontrumpandridehimhard start spreading their conspiracy bullshit.
