Are they still illegal? Wouldn't a jet sweep fall under this category even though its considered a pass behind the LOS?
I was watching the 77 ND/CU game and we got called for an illegal forward lateral near the goal line so I tried to look it up and can't find anything except its legal in the NFL, in fact there is no rule regarding this in the NFL rules.
Maybe be a stupid question but its been years anyone ran that type of O consistently, yes?.
