@24TIGER I know you had said on the podcast that your daughter swam at Kentucky, did she have to compete against Thomas? Saw this and was curious...hopefully she didnt have to :-\.

No. Our daughter did not compete against Lia Thomas.

The first photo shows our daughter Sofie in middle of picture, arms raised. To her left in the picture is Riley Gaines (towel around waist).

They are good friends and Riley is a great young lady who has represented the University of Kentucky in a First Class manner.

Very sad development for swimming and for women’s athletics in general. I hope the NCAA wakes up.

Sucks her teammate even has to be one to speak out on it. Hopefully it doesn't adversely affect her and hopefully NCAA will one day soon see sense and reason.
