When you got into covering sports, how long did it take you to no longer have an allegiance to a particular school/team? I guess this is assuming you had one to start with, but just curious.
I have a good friend that has been covering the gamecocks for that last few years and he has lately decided he is no longer a fan of them.
I figure its normal because you live it and just need a good story and no longer need wins, but I'm genuinely curious about the subject.
