Hoping this will avoid becoming a political thread. But I am genuinely curious about the opinions from those who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan because the only opinions I get to hear are from people who have never actually been there. Given y'all's experience abroad, what would be the best course for the U.S. going forward in Iraq/Syria? Should we continue drone strikes? Should we even be there? Thanks in advance
