OP’s wife has never closed the hood of my car, but I’ve had to wash her hand prints off of it numerous times.

Have 3 daughters, all of them like to leave little doubt the car door is actually closed......brute force, like they want to slam the door to other side of the car. We just put a new kitchen in one of our homes and had those "auto close" cabinets installed to prevent such cabinet closing anger. Seems to be working well.
