Hmm. I recognize I’m closer to this issue than most, but she still hasn’t resigned.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. She didn’t commit a crime, so the City Council likely can’t vote her out. I think a recall is the only way to force her out. She’s on “paid leave” as of this morning.

The whole situation is regrettable and shouldn’t have happened, but it also serves notice that other ethnicities aren’t free of the racism that so often gets tagged solely to white America.
